Stranger Things season 5 is not coming in September 2022 on Netflix
After a long wait for Stranger Things to return to Netflix, the successful sci-fi series finally hit our screens in May 2022 with season 4 volume 1 and July 4 volume 2. Duffer brothers are making the most of netflix’s top 10 list. For several weeks, with many emerging from the epic and emotionally devastating fourth season, it’s not surprising that fans are already hungry for stranger-things season 5.
And while the fans can be satisfied that the production for the fifth and final season is in full force, if you were hoping to see the new episodes of the sci-fi series soon, you would be disappointed to know that the Stranger Things season is not coming to Netflix on September 5, 2022.
So when can we see the return of the eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the rest of the upside-down gang? We have a difficult timeline!
Does Stranger Things season 5 have a release date?
Unfortunately, there is no official date for netflix’s release in stranger things season 5, but it is likely due to the fact that production for the last season is still in the early days. After all, we may still be able to give you a prediction as to when we can possibly see new episodes.
In early August 2022, duffer brothers confirmed that they have started writing season 5. And in a profile with the British gq, David harbor – who portrays Jim hopper on the show – said filming is about to start sometime in 2023. He also predicted that the show would return in the middle of 2024. Although it didn’t make it clear when the filming would start, we hope season 5 doesn’t have to wait another three years before we get to our screens. In an interview with variety, the duffer brothers also commented:
Don’t stop us on this, but this time the gap should be quite low, due to the fact that we already have an initial outline, and we can’t imagine another six-month forced break.”
Of course, for this kind of show, post production will take a lot of time to complete, because the visual effects of the show are outside this world. So with all these things in mind, we believe that as soon as possible we will get season 5 of Stranger Things in the summer of 2024. Of course, we can be wrong, so we ask you to take this prediction with a grain of salt.
